The pilgrim relics of St. Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face–most commonly known as St. Therese of Lisieux or “The Little Flower”–arrives in the Diocese of Novaliches on Saturday, February 10, 2018.
Visiting for three days, the pilgrim relics will be staying in the Cathedral Shrine and Parish of the Good Shepherd beginning 10AM Saturday until 7AM Monday, February 12, 2018.
The pilgrim relics, according to its official Facebook Page for the 4th visit in the Philippines, will be arriving into the Diocese of Novaliches from the Diocese of Kalookan and will then move to the Diocese of Cubao.
According to the Cathedral Shrine and Parish of the Good Shepherd Rector Rev. Fr. Mario Sanchez, preparations are on the way to welcome the pilgrim relics of St. Therese into the Diocese of Novaliches that will be headed by the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCDS) through its Fairview Community that’s under the scope of his parish.
Fr. Maria said the schedule of the relic’s visit are already being distributed to the 69 Parishes of the Diocese to ensure many devotees will be able to participate in the vigil and Masses scheduled during St. Therese’s stay in the Diocese.
The Relics of The Little Flower arrived in the Philippines last January 12, 2018 in the National Shrine of St. Therese of Lisieux, Pasay and is scheduled to tour other dioceses in the Country until May 31, 2018. (~Minnie Agdeppa)
