The Diocese of Novaliches Office of Exorcism (Libera Nox) launches RC2: Rosary Campaign for Roman Catholics on the eve of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s (BVM) birthday, September 7, 2017.
According to Libera Nox Chief Exorcist Rev. Fr. Ambrosio Nonato Legaspi, the said campaign was born out of the need to help people who surrender old or suspicious-looking rosaries to his office. There was a sudden surge of such incidents due to the article published in the CBCP News Website on ‘Satanic Rosaries’–based on the August 7, 2017 Spiritual Warfare Episode of the Diocese of Novaliches’ Segment in Radio Veritas Hello Father 911 (HF911) that he co-anchored–has gone viral.
“I am launching: Rosaries for Roman Catholics Campaign, as a birthday gift to Mama Mary,” he said in an FB message sent to thos in his Social Media Network early morning of Thursday.
“We will ask the Bishop, the priests to accept donations of rosaries from their Parishioners, have them blessed and given away for free, especially to those who will surrender their suspicious looking rosaries,” he added.
Pledges for rosaries as far as Makati and Alabang have started coming in before lunch time as Case Officers of Libera Nox started announcing the launch of their Campaign to their Social Media Networks as well. Libera Nox will also be tapping Marian Organizations in the Country such as the Perpetual Rosary Association for rosary donations and support in promoting the Campaign.
In the said August 7, 2017 Episode of HF911, Fr. Legaspi warned Kapanaligs on the existence of ‘Satanic’ rosaries in the Country. These rosaries, which are one of the many varieties of New Age Rosaries circulating since early 2004, have been called ‘Satanic’ because it leads to occult practices, which opens the demonic in a person’s life, relations, and property.
The Universal Catholic Church will celebrate the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8, 2017, which was traditionally set nine months after the Feast of the Immaculate Conception every December 8.
Coincidentally, the image of the Immaculate Conception was also used in the image of the Our Lady Undoer of Knots. In the Diocese of Novaliches, the Our Lady Undoer of Knots or Inang Desay has been declared as the Diocesan Devotion by its Bishop, Most Rev. Antonio R. Tobias, D.D. Prayers to Our Lady Undoer of Knots have been used in the Ministry of Spiritual Liberation and Exorcism due to its efficacy in driving out the demonic. (~Minnie Agdeppa)
