Libera Nox Holds Conference For New Nova Exorcists

Diocese of Novaliches Chief Exorcist Rev. Fr. Ambrosio Nonato Legaspi giving the Conference On Spiritual Warfare, Discernment of Spirits, Deliverance, and Exorcism for the Diocese’s new exorcists last July 6, 2017 at Christ The King Parish, Filinvest 2, Q.C.

The Diocese of Novaliches Office Of Exorcism (Libera Nox) recently held a special “Conference On Spiritual Warfare, Discernment Of Spirits, Deliverance, and Exorcism” at the Christ The King Parish, Filinvest 2, Q.C. last July 6, 2017 for select priests being trained as its new members.

Conducted by Libera Nox Chief Exorcist Rev. Fr. Ambrosio Nonato Legaspi, the Conference was a modified version of the 2016 Vicariate Conferences through a more in-depth talk on Spiritual Warfare and Exorcism based on the actual experiences of the two-year old Ministry in the Diocese.

The said priests–Diocese of Novaliches Director for Community-based Catechism Rev. Fr. Aldrin Lopez; Diocese of Novaliches Judicial Vicar Rev. Fr. Jerome Rosalinda; Diocese of Novaliches Director for Seminarians Formation Rev. Fr. Elpidio De Peralta, Jr.; Diocese of Novaliches Director for Formation of High School and College Seminarians Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Dulong; and Diocese of Novaliches Director for Ecumenical Inter Religious Ministry Rev. Fr. Rudy Tulibas–have recently received their appointment as new exorcists of the Diocese of Novaliches from His Excellency, Most Rev. Antonio R. Tobias, D.D.

The first four exorcists were present during the Conference and shared their own experiences and inputs on the Conference during the fellowship that followed. Of the sharings discussed were the increasing number of false mystics that resulted into devotions now infiltrating the Catholic Faith such as those from Maria Divine Mercy’s Seal of the Living God.

Aside from the said conference, the new exorcists will be joining the regular weekly interviews and pray overs being held by Libera Nox for its clients as part of their training. Clients of the Ministry have increased in the past year into 60 as of date, prompting the need for additional exorcists and case officers.

Also present during the Conference were the case officers of Libera Nox, which included new Case Officer Dra. Katherine Cosca, and the Archdiocese of Manila Office of Exorcism’s Head Case Officer Ms. Rowena Delos Reyes.

A couple from the Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy Parish’s Healing Ministry Mr. & Mrs. Fernando Panganiban, Jr. also joined the said Conference as Fr. Legaspi plans to setup Vicariate Teams composed of Lay Members to ease up the number of cases being handled on a Diocesan-level and to empower the lay for the Ministry.

Providentially, three new exorcists are Vicars Forane in the Diocese: Fr. De Peralta, Fr. Tulibas, and Fr. Dulong of the Vicariates of San Isidro Labrador, San Bartolome, and Holy Spirit, respectively. However, the process of setting up the said Vicariate Teams involves a long process of scrutiny as not every one is called to the Ministry. (~Minnie Agdeppa)
